Waste Connections wanted an annual report that felt like an extension of its brand rather than a standalone communications piece. Using the diamond shape from the company’s logo as the foundation, we built a design system that carried across both the annual report and microsite, creating a consistent look and feel throughout the experience.

The report is heavily focused on performance, using charts, infographics, and carefully organized content to help readers quickly understand the company’s results and growth story. Diamond-shaped graphic elements appear throughout the report to highlight key information, create visual interest, and reinforce the brand without overwhelming the content.
To complement the printed report, we also developed a microsite that brought the same design approach online. Together, the report and website gave Waste Connections a cohesive platform for communicating its financial performance, business strategy, and long-term outlook to shareholders and other stakeholders.
