Campaign Naming, Branding, Ideation, Website and Marketing Materials

VH1 Save the Music Foundation has helped restore music programs in over 2,000 of America’s public schools since 1997 with the help of generous donations from their supporters. As part of their 20th anniversary celebration, we worked with the VH1 Save the Music team to create an awareness campaign with the goal of raising $3 million. The campaign name, “Play It Forward,” speaks to concepts of music, stewardship and active involvement that are at the heart of the foundation. Carefully conceived games and contests are complemented by energetic colors and graphic elements designed to add a sense of playfulness to the campaign. Visual identity systems, promotional contests, website design and development, social media planning and management, environmental advertising and event planning were all implemented and coordinated to establish brand consistency and familiarity for repeat users.
